TEKsystems Computer Operations Specialist (3rd Shift) in Green Bay, Wisconsin

TEKsystems is seeking a Computer Operations Specialist to join their client's Operations team in Green Bay. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT including training and exposure in the Command Center, data center, and IT infrastructure as a whole.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a diverse enterprise environment consisting of MVS, UNIX, LINUX, and Windows systems. Utilize monitoring tools such as HP BSM, OEM, Dynatrace, and SolarWinds.

  • Manage job scheduling using CA Workload Automation (formerly D-Series Automation).

  • Handle incidents and service requests using the Cherwell Ticketing System.

  • Perform tape library pulls, facility walkthroughs, and other operational duties as needed.

Qualifications:

This position is ideal for individuals looking to break into IT. Previous experience utilizing a ticketing system, monitoring enterprise-sized mainframes, or working with distributed or mainframe systems is a plus.

Work Schedule:

  • Initial training will be conducted onsite during day shifts for first few weeks.

  • Following training this role will transition to hybrid schedule (2 - 3 days onsite) working Saturday to Monday, 7pm - 7am & every other Tuesday.
