JOB REQUIREMENTS: Duties and Responsibilties of Job: Overview American Foods Group, LLC is searching for a Claims Analyst to join our accounting team in Green Bay, WI. As our Claims Analyst, you will be involved in the processing of customer claims and refused product. This includes, but not limited to pricing, shortages, overages, damages, wrong product and wrong specifications. You will work with internal departments including sales, shipping, quality assurance, customer service and billing and external customers in the process of identifying and resolving claim related matters. Responsibilities: * Answer and respond to in-coming claims call and emails from all customers * Research claims received and gather proper documentation * Communicate directly with internal departments (sales, shipping, QA and billing) and external customers to determine relevant claim facts * Analyze data gathered and make recommendations as to claim resolution * Communicate decisions internally and to the Company\'s customers in a timely manner in accordance with the Company\'s policies and procedures * Account for all pending claims and refused product and monitor their status * Produce weekly claim reports * Bill approved claims and refused product * Understand and adhere to Company policy around the confidential nature of the information of both the Company and the Company\'s customers * NOTE: This description is not intended to be all inclusive. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications (Required): * Must be 18 years of age or older. * Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship. * High school diploma or GED. * 3+ years\' claim processing/management experience. * Proficient with Excel and Word as well as basic software experience. Preferred Qualifications: * Associate Degree in Accounting or a business-related field. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Positive experience in customer relations on all levels. * Strong data entry skills essential. * Detail-oriented with excellent planning and organizing skills. * Ability to effectively communicate with customers under potentially tense situations. * Ability to demonstrate sound judgement under all circumstances and in a timely manner and display strong problem analysis skills.
