Microsoft Corporation Software Engineer II in Greater Toronto, Ontario

The Dynamics 365 Resource Scheduling team is looking for a Software Engineer II to revolutionize resource scheduling through cutting-edge UX design and advanced computer science solutions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to create and enhance frontline resource scheduling experiences. You will be responsible for implementing product features using TypeScript with the ReactJS framework, as well as C#. You will work closely with other engineers, project managers, and UX designers.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver features end to end that are ‘serviceable’. Distributed computation, high scale, high availability, low maintenance and with provable quality

• Able to handle large scope and complicated feature ownership by working under self-driven initiatives with Program Mangers and across teams

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, or Python

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years' experience in web development technologies like React/Typescript/JavaScript or CSS.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior D365 experience

  • Good analytical skills with systematic and structured approach to software design. 

  • Commitment to building highly scalable, highly reliable services. 

  • Proficient with written and verbal communication skills.

  • Curiosity and willingness to learn, share and improve.

  • Proven track record as a performer with significant direct technical contribution.

  • Ability to communicate technical details clearly across organizational boundaries.

Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $83,600 - CAD $159,600 per year.
