Great Neck Public Schools Part-time Special Education Teaching Assistant (NHS) in Great Neck, New York
Hours: M - F, 10:12 am – 2:33 pm, 4.35 hours/day
Effective: Immediately – End of School Year Ten-month position, subject to annual reappointment
Duties: Support teachers and assist special education students. Provide intervention services directly to individual students and in small group settings.
Rate: New applicants: $25.06/hr Current employees: In accordance with paraprofessional agreement
Job Qualifications
Requirements: Applicant MUST be NYS teacher or teaching assistant certified. Minimum of 60 college credits is preferred. ABA experience and experience working with students with autism is highly preferred.
