Under the direction of the Park Supervisor, performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled duties related to the general care and maintenance of City park facilities.
- Mows, trims, and irrigates park grounds.
- Fertilizes and seeds park areas as needed.
- Irrigates, trims, maintains, and removes trees in park areas as necessary.
- Assists in the repair of park buildings, structures, and various park equipment.
- Assists in painting, performing minor plumbing jobs, minor irrigation system repairs, welding, etc.
- Forms and pours concrete.
- Uses a variety of hand and power tools.
- Responds to after-hours emergencies.
- Paints and repairs tables, benches, and other park equipment.
- Helps collect trash and clean and service restrooms.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required
