We count our work days by the miles at Barton County Road & Bridge. Our team is seeking new teammates to repair and maintain Barton County roads. We\'re looking for Equipment Operators to run construction and maintenance equipment. No overnight assignments here. You can sleep in your own bed. Spend your weekend at the lake, on the river, hunting or with family. Limited weekend work for emergencies. You can count your weekends by the smiles.
Our director is driven to hire the right person with road construction or other related experience preferred as well as a valid Class A / CDL Kansas Driver\'s License. All County positions require a minimum of a High School diploma or GED with the ability to pass a drug screen and pre-employment physical assessment. Starting pay \$18 for non-CDL, \$19 for CDL.
