We are offering a part-time (20h/week) position in the field of HW development.

In the field of HW development you will support during the entire process chain, from the requirement collecting phase until the device is assembled, tested and ready to be shipped. Your hardware developments will be the basis for future commercial products and solutions.

As our Hardware Development Engineer, you’ll support HID’s success by:

  • Supporting PCB development:

    Design of PCB (Schematic & layout design)

    Maintaining of design libraries

    Ordering and administration

    Conduct basic functional testing, debugging, and validation of PCBs

    Prepare roll-out

    Documentation

  • Participating in design review

  • Working with test equipment to verify PCB performance and identify issues

  • Supporting RF measurements in the field of Ultra Wideband (UWB)

  • Supporting standardization activities

    What we will love about your background:

  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents

  • Familiar with PCB design tools is a plus; preferable Altium Designer

  • Programming skills (Python) is a plus

    Your Experience and Education include:

  • Studying Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Telematics or related

  • First experience in PCB development is a plus

  • First experience in Programming is a plus
