Maintenance/Controls Technician Needed! (Direct Hire)

Day shift

$37-40hr

Description

• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.

• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.

• Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.

• Perform maintenance skills including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing troubleshooting and repair of production machines.

• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.

• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.

• Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.

• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

-High school diploma or GED

-3 years of maintenance in a manufacturing setting

-Ability to reach schematics

-Siemens PLC/VFD experience

-Allen Bradley VFD experience

• ability to be on call

-Must be able to stand on concrete floors for extended period of time.

• Experience with troubleshooting and maintaining electrical/electronic control circuits

• Must be able to identity potential technical issues an resolve them with minimal supervision

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $76960.00 - $83200.00

• Client is expanding and production is at an all time high

• The plant is extremely clean and climate controlled

• PPO Benefits offered first month from hire

This is a fully onsite position in Gray Court,SC.
