Basic Job Functions:
The role of Grating Operations Manager is to participate as a member of the Division's Leadership Team in Taking Care of Our Customers, while leading the division's grating manufacturing efforts. Develop and actively participate in leading the Safety, Quality, Cost, Productivity, Profitability, and Commercial Excellence efforts of the Vulcraft/Verco Group. The Grating Operations Manager will provide long-term strategic planning as well as create focus on delivering near-term results. The Grating Operations Manager will need to personally demonstrate the values that make up the Nucor Culture.
Additional expectations and responsibilities include the following:
Lead, develop, and execute all aspects of the Grating business, including the Commercial, Production, Logistics, and Financial teams.
Responsible for commercial, logistics, and strategic coordination between all Vulcraft grating facilities.
Lead and participate in the division safety efforts.
Lead, model, nurture, and advance the Nucor culture.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-functioning, cohesive leadership team.
Must be willing and able to relocate to take on further leadership responsibilities within Nucor, now, and in the future.

Minimum Qualifications:
Two years of experience in a senior leadership position (Vice President or Director-level role) in a steel fabrication or steel-related industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in commercial, production, grating operations, logistics and/or financial functions.
