Job Title: Welder (Robotic Cell Attendant)

Job Description

Welders work alongside robots that assist with welding (robots are run by engineers). Responsibilities include removing flashing and excess metal from casting, evacuating defects, welding defects, and grinding multiple parts of the casting. You will also grind and chip welds, parting lines, and positive metal from multiple areas of the casting. Running gauges as necessary on all parts of the casting, inspecting castings for visual defects, and recording information to the casting via SAP are also part of the job. Additionally, you will prepare/finish castings for the robotic cell and review castings post-robotic cell for defects that need to be repaired.
