Syringa Hospital & Clinics is accepting applications for a Full-Time Phlebotomist. This position collects blood and other lab specimens for use by Medical Technologists for clinical analyses, evaluation, and/or diagnostic purposes. Accurately interprets physician orders Performs and processes DOT and other drug screen requests. Assures adequate diagnosis codes or symptoms used before drawing. Performs lab secretary work as needed. Helps Manager manage phlebotomy and other collection supplies. One (1) year experience in drawing blood specimens (Preferred); OR, any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved. Knowledge of medical terminology required.
