Are you a skilled mechanic with a passion for working with heavy machinery? If so, we're seeking a talented individual to join our team! As a Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of garbage trucks, street sweeper machines, and sewer trucks.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on municipal equipment.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.

• Conduct inspections and safety checks.

• Operate heavy machinery as needed.

• Weld and fabricate components.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of mechanic experience.

• 3 years of experience with hydraulic and electrical systems.

• Welding skills (experience with [type of welding]).

• Valid driver's license and Class B CDL (or ability to obtain).

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Problem-solving and analytical skills.

Benefits:

• Competitive hourly rate of $24-$28/hour. (Negotiable with experience)

• First shift 8-5 M-F (with flexibility for summer hours).

• Sign-on bonus of $2500 (paid out quarterly).

• Tool allowance of $2500 after 90 days.
