JOB SUMMARY: Prepare nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snacks for Head Start participants in accordance with Head Start Performance Standards and CACFP guidelines. Help to promote child wellness by providing nutrition services that supplement and complement those of the home and community. Qualifications High School Diploma and additional training Serve Safe Manager Certification, or willingness to obtain through agency. First Aid/CPR Certification or willingness to obtain through agency. More than 1 year experience in cooking for groups, ordering, receiving, and maintaining inventory. DHS Background Study Clearance Employee Health Exam Certification w/i 90 days of hire Valid Driver s License & MVR approval for use of Agency vehicles. Schedule/Location Daytime weekday shift- no nights, weekends, or holiday shifts.
