Job Title: Welder and Fabricator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder and Fabricator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding, fabrication, and working with automation equipment. You will be responsible for reading blueprints, creating assemblies from mild steel and some stainless steel, and using various tools and equipment to complete jobs.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to create assemblies

• Measure materials using tape measures and other tools

• Create own fixtures and set weld settings

• Follow job orders and work instructions

• Use brake press, tap, and drill tools to complete jobs

• Perform MIG welding and fabrication tasks

• Work primarily with mild steel materials and occasionally with stainless steel

Essential Skills

• Experience with MIG welding

• Proficiency in fabrication

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

• Skilled in using tape measures and hand tools

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with press brake operation

• Ability to create job fixtures

• Knowledge of automation equipment

Work Environment

You will work in a machine shop environment with a first shift schedule from 5 AM to 3 PM. There is little to no travel required. Our company focuses on creating material handling equipment for a variety of industries, providing a dynamic and engaging workplace.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
