Transfer & Articulation Services Coordinator

The Transfer & Articulation Services Coordinator supports the development, coordination, and promotion of transfer and articulation programs, with the goal of ensuring seamless transfer opportunities for GRCC students. This role includes coordination and communication with Academic and Student Affairs schools/departments, high school and four-year transfer partners, and other external stakeholders to aid in the development and formalization of articulated programs, institutional articulation agreements, memoranda of understanding, and data sharing agreements.

Essential Job Functions

• Collaborate with the Director of Articulation and Transfer, Instructional Support Team, and appropriate bodies (General Education Review and Curriculum Approval Teams) to enhance program review processes. • Aid in researching and benchmarking curriculum at two- and four-year institutions to ensure quality and transferability of GRCC courses and programs, including, but not limited to general education and Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA) courses. • Maintain current knowledge of statewide transfer and articulation initiatives, policies, and legislation. • Follow established procedures related to environmental scanning to assist with new transfer program proposals and collaborate with appropriate College personnel to discontinue transfer programs, as appropriate. • Utilize processes in Curriculog to facilitate the development and review of transfer programs. • Form and lead a taskforce with Academic and Student Affairs representation to operationalize Transfer 2.0-related enhanced partnerships and initiatives. • Develop and maintain a transfer and articulation dashboard to track institutional agreements, transfer program development, implementation, and related data. • Utilize reporting tools in the Michigan Transfer Network. to assist with the evaluation of transfer programs, agreements, and initiatives. • Produce reports providing pertinent data and information related to transfer curriculum and articulation agreements. Upon request, present these reports to college leadership and Institutional Research to support state and federal institutional reporting requirements and college planning needs. • Serve as a liaison between GRCC, four-year institutions, and other entities, as appropriate, to establish and maintain the transferability of GRCC courses. Facilitate Academic and Student Affairs faculty and staff summits between GRCC and partner institutions. • Help support articulation of high school and technical center coursework by working with faculty, staff, the Student Records Office, and secondary and post-secondary institutions, as appropriate. • Develop and maintain working relationships with primary contacts at area school districts, technical centers, and colleges/universities. • Assist in the development, maintenance, and implementation of high school and four-year articulation agreements, memoranda of understanding, and partnership evaluation processes in coordination with internal stakeholders and external agencies. • Maintain organized records of articulation agreements and related forms and documents. • Maintain the GRCC Transfer and Articulation website. • Assist with the development of articu
