Skytron LLC Shop Technician - SkyVision in Grand Rapids, Michigan
Schedule: 7:00am - 4:00pm

As a Shop Technician, you will:
- Assemble SkyVision equipment and pendants for shipment to customers
- Correctly wire, test, and ensure functionality of products that need modification to meet specific requirements
- Diagnose and repair equipment coming into the Shop, including: lights, tables, booms, monitors, warmers, washers, sterilizers, pendants, and SkyVision
- Assess and repair products damaged in shipment, QC failure items, returned items, demo products, warranty evaluations and loaners
- Prepare product for shipment, including: product crating, labeling, and staging
- Process and close out completed work orders
- Support and provide coverage for additional functions within operations, including Boom and UVC assembly when needed
- Attend and participate in continuous improvement projects, team meetings, and huddles
- Maintain a clean workstation and Shop area, according to established safety standards
For success in this role, you will:
- Capably handle required administrative functions
- Verify work to ensure accurate results, requiring minimal rework
- Follow work instructions, procedures, safety guidelines, and company policies
- Meet productivity standards
- Devise workable solutions or consult with secondary resources to devise solutions
- Have a HS Diploma or equivalent, with ambition to further education
- Have previous assembly experience, including basic computer and electronic components and processes
- Possess a working knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Have previous experience with IFS or other ERP systems (strongly preferred)
- Have the ability to obtain a hi-lo and picker license
- Be able to exert up to 100 lbs of force occasionally and up to 50 lbs of force frequently
