Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY : The Route Lead Position will be responsible for the daily operations of a specific Hybrid branch. Duties will include, ensuring all daily routes have been properly splashed and routed prior to loaders arrival. Re-routing any missed work for the next available service day and communicating this to affected parties. This person will drive, coordinate, and report on the day-to-day operations and events in the branch while working closely with other departments within PAI, including senior team members. The Route Lead must possess a positive can-do attitude, demonstrate enthusiasm for customers, solve problems, multi-task, and engage owner/operators in the process when necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:
Oversee and manage the daily activities of their hybrid vault.
Ensure all routes are properly splashed before loaders arrive.
Reassign any missed work to the next service day and ensure.
Keep a detailed line of communication with each Loader of daily operations and report back to your District Lead.
Provide guidance to all loaders when they have issues or concerns.
Help manage roster for employees and address any constraints, report this to district leader.
Ensure all services (orders, loads) are assigned in a timely manner.
Monitor routes, address, and communicate any exceptions (missed loads, repeat calls, etc.)
Run a route as needed, to ensure customer expectations are met.
Provide reporting to the District Lead on service delivery and exceptions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Display a hunger for learning and an ability to influence others with a positive approach.
Experience preferred in VTS or similar Operations (ATM, Cash Handling, Logistics etc.)
Strong business acumen and process proficiency
Good appreciation for technology as a business enabler is key, industry technology knowledge is beneficial.
Possess a valid Driver’s License and an excellent driving record.
Can travel with short notice.
A combination of education, training, and experience may be substituted when competency in the role is demonstrated. Successful performance on pre-employment tests may be required.
