A Quality Inspector in the Grand Rapids, MI area is needed for a multinational power management company. The Quality Inspector ensures product compliance through inspections, blueprint evaluation, and reporting while supporting quality assurance efforts in a manufacturing environment.

salary: $19.85 - 21.00 per hour

work hours: 8am to 4pm

education: High School

responsibilities:

• Perform inspections for Receiving and Final Inspection processes.

• Use manual inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, plug, and pin gauges) proficiently.

• Ensure product compliance with blueprint specifications and industry standards.

• Prepare and complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) per AS9102 requirements.

• Conduct Assembly Floor Layer Process Audits and 5S audits to ensure quality and safety standards.

• Support month-end shipments and customer demands as needed.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.

• Minimum two years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
