Our client is seeking a Product Quote Consultant to join their team. As a Product Quote Consultant, you will be part of the quote team determining the feasibility, pricing, and specifications for customized product requests in order to convert customer needs into best solutions. The ideal candidate will have technical proficiency, computer skills, and a background in engineering, business, or IT which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Product Quote Consultant

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Pay Range: $39.50 per hour

What's the Job?

• Determine feasibility, pricing, and specifications for customized product requests

• Prepare formal quote specifications and related documents to aid the salesforce in influencing customers to purchase Steelcase product

• Collaborate with internal teams to win bids and meet customer requirements

• Translate product data into a new system and format

• Apply appropriate standards and protocol that govern the design/engineering process

What's Needed?

• Computer skills including proficiency in Smartsheets and Excel

• Ability to read basic dimensions on engineering drawings and floor plans

• Ability to use a variety of methods and techniques in solving technical issues

• Ability to work with peers and management in a multi-disciplined team environment

• Ability to communicate technical information with all audiences
