Superior Asphalt, Inc. Paving Crew Foreman in Grand Rapids, Michigan
We are seeking an experienced Paving Crew Foreman to lead our team in delivering high- quality asphalt paving projects. This hands-on leadership role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage crews effectively.
Responsibilities: • Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the paving crew. • Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards. • Operate and oversee asphalt paving equipment as needed. • Maintain a safe and productive work environment. • Communicate with project managers, inspectors, and clients. • Train and mentor crew members.
Requirements: • Proven experience as a foreman or lead in asphalt paving. • Strong knowledge of paving techniques, equipment, and safety regulations. • Ability to read blueprints and interpret job specifications. • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team. • Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required) • Ability to work long hours and in varying weather conditions. • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment, working independently with a high degree of problem-solving. • Must pass pre-employment screening.
