Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Machinists for projects located in and around Grand Rapids, MI. This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of up to $35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Performing Assembly of Machined and/or Purchased Components under the Guidance of a Machine Builder I or Team Leader
Wire Junction Boxes
Welding Fabrication
Heavy Rigging
Using a Drill Press, Small Mill Band Saw
Safely Operate a Forklift and Overhead Crane
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 Years of Machine Building Experience
Knowledge of Welding Fabrication
Able to Read and Work from Machine Assembly Blueprints and Schematics
Able to use Hand and Power Tools
Mechanically Inclined
Basic Hand Tools of the Trade
Measuring Skills and Ability to Read Precision Measurements
Basic Shop Math Skills
Reliable and Punctual
Able to Work Overtime and Occasional Weekends when Needed
Detail Oriented
Verbal and Written Communication Skills
Basic Computer Skills in Excel, Work, and Email
