Job Title: Insurance Specialist

Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring the status of homeowners insurance on all loans to ensure adequate coverage is in place.

• Monitor the status of existing homeowners insurance (HOI) policies daily and generate reports.

Customer Service:

• Answer incoming insurance-related phone calls and respond to member emails and voicemails promptly.

• Provide excellent customer service by addressing member inquiries and concerns efficiently.

Communication:

• Communicate with insurance agencies and other external associates regarding member policies to ensure proper documentation is collected.

• Follow up as needed to ensure all necessary information is obtained.

Collateral Protection Insurance (CPI):

• Monitor Allied reports and manage collateral protection insurance (CPI) policies for force-placed insurance.

• Review Allied cancellation reports to ensure cancellation notices are addressed and members are contacted before placing CPI.

Policy Verification:

• Ensure current policy information is accurate in all servicing systems.

• Verify core range, deductible, and mortgage clauses for accuracy.

Documentation:

• Upload insurance letters into the imaging system accurately and timely.

Call Queue Management:

• Dedicate at least one hour per day to managing the call queue, ensuring timely responses to member inquiries.

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficiency in using insurance and servicing systems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00
