Corewell Health Finance Support Lead in Grand Rapids, Michigan
Job Summary
Advanced knowledge of accounts payable processes. Leads team in the implementation of administrative improvements and makes decisions regarding daily priorities for the payables / receivables staff. Prepares, maintains, and reconciles accounts payable information in the Accounts Payable system. Works with vendors and internal customers to resolve problems and special requests.
Essential Functions
Prepares, enters, maintains, and reconciles data in the accounts payable system. Assists in training new team members.
Works with vendors and all levels of internal staff to resolve invoice and coding problems, pay invoices within the organization's terms, and handle special requests as needed. Offers guidance to other team members.
Maintains files in an organized manner to ensure invoice documentation is maintained (includes optical scanning).
Adapts to changing internal and external environment pertaining to accounts payable. Flexible to changing technology. Comprehension of system enhancements and perform testing as needed.
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships within the organization.
Completes required continuous training and education, including department specific requirements.
Performs daily activities in an accurate and timely manner.
Demonstrates teamwork and integrity in all work-related activities.

Required
Associate's Degree related field
7 years of relevant experience accounting, accounts payable, health care or related experience.
