Summary

Be part of a team that helps Veterans experiencing homelessness reach their full employment potential! Community Rebuilders is seeking an Employment Services Project Manager to oversee the Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program (HVRP). The Project Manager works closely to plan, organize, manage, and deliver resources to bring about the successful completion of the project. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring achievement of all project goals and objectives while honoring project scope, budget, and timeline. As an entry-level position, the Project Manager will oversee a single project/contract/grant source, bearing responsibility for all regulatory, contract and organizational requirements that must be met to successfully deliver quality services to the defined population. All project managers at Community Rebuilders must complete training and demonstrate competency in strengths based and trauma informed services.

The position will help address the complex problems facing homeless Veterans with accessing employment and will develop relationships within the local labor force to promote long term employment success. U.S. Military Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.

 

Essential Functions

Manage assigned Contract/Grant to project scope, goals and deliverables to ensure project meets all project performance objectives

Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools and reporting mechanisms.

Conduct strategy meetings to identify issues and service delivery requirements, facilitate grant spend out discussions, and obtain senior management input on timelines and deliverables

Direct and manage project implementation/development from beginning to end.

Ensure all services are delivered using Community Rebuilders strengths-based trauma informed service delivery model.

Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel utilizing project management tools and quality assurance resources.

Effectively implement Strengths Based Supervision training with employees; hold monthly quarterly and annual review meetings.

Provide training and project performance expertise and examples.

Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team, managing project dependencies and critical paths

Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentation in a timely and consistent manner.

Proactively manage changes in project scope, identifying potential crises and devising contingency plans.

Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise the project team members, influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.

Determine program eligibility and maintain participant case files in compliance with contract and agency requirements

Provide ongoing case management services, including regular check-ins, referrals to supportive services, and assistance in navigating community resources.

Develop and conduct individual and group training and counseling sessions/workshops for Veterans on resume writing, soft skills training, and job preparedness training

Assist with employment placement through on-the-job training (OJT), apprenticeship training programs, and direct hire placements

Provide job coaching and retention/follow-up services in accordance with DOL regulations; maintain individual employment data during the established time frame

Establish and maintain relationships with local employers, workforce development, and social resources to facilitate referrals and collaboration
