Reyes TX, Inc Project Manager/Estimator in Grand Prairie, Texas
Anticipate project needs with sufficient lead time to avoid delays of production.
Establish work plan and staffing for each phase of the project.
Work closely with Job Sponsor and HR team to manage the relationship with staff and craft.
Coordinate daily /weekly meetings with all the area superintendents and project engineers to develop means and methods, schedule contracting needs and long lead delivery times.
Utilize project management software for tracking and reporting purposes.
Responsible for project closeout. Secure loose ends by finishing paperwork, obtaining retainages, supporting supervisors, and expediting claims.
Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Review project estimate or plan to determine estimated job cost, procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project.
Oversee and approve the monthly job cost updated and quarterly cash flow projections. Review, approve and negotiate change orders.
Monitor and report the financial progress of the project to stakeholders.
Identify and mitigate financial risks.
Lead and supervise project teams, including Field Engineers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Foremen.
Foster a collaborative work environment and resolve any conflicts that arise
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
Ensure that construction activities meet legal standards and quality specifications
Conduct regular site inspections and audits
Oversee the testing of materials and workmanship
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, government entities, and community groups
Regularly update stakeholders on project progress
Manage and negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and suppliers
Ensure project superintendents understand and execute the work as required
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and other legal requirements
Handle any unforeseen issues and emergencies effectively
Utilize a variety of tools, including HCSS Estimating and Management, Primavera Unifier, Oracle Cloud Scheduling, Auto-Cad 3D, REVU Bluebeam, AGGTEK, CMiC and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
Minimum requirements Education:
Must possess a Masters Degree or equivalent in Technology Management or related field. Experience: 1 year of experience in the position offered or a related position. Special Skills Aforementioned 1 year of experience must include use of the following skills: HCSS Estimating and Management, Primavera Unifier, Oracle Cloud Scheduling, Auto-Cad 3D, REVU Bluebeam, AGGTEK, CMiC and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
