North Shore Health Director of Maintenance in Grand Marais, Minnesota
North Shore Health is seeking applicants for a Director of Maintenance. The Director of Maintenance is responsible for directing, planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of tasks, including skilled maintenance, repair, renovation, and construction of buildings. The Director of Maintenance also oversees the operation, maintenance, and cleaning of equipment and grounds. This position entails supervising inspections of worksites and various buildings on a routine basis. The incumbent is afforded significant latitude in exercising his or her independent judgment in planning and carrying out the Director responsibilities of the position. The Director of Maintenance is responsible for supervising the maintenance employees who perform routine building maintenance and repair of both semi-skilled and skilled nature. The Director is also responsible to manage and oversee the Housekeeping/Laundry department with the assistance of the Housekeeping Lead.
