Title: Material Handler

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Hours: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, Monday - Friday

Location: Grand Junction, CO

Temp-to-hire

What you will do:

  • Manually load and unload materials from delivery vehicles, ensuring safe and efficient handling.

  • Transport materials to designated areas within the facility, using carts, hand trucks, or by hand.

  • Organize and store materials in assigned locations, ensuring proper labeling and easy accessibility.

  • Supply production areas with materials as needed, ensuring continuous workflow.

  • Assist with inventory management by conducting regular counts and updating records.

  • Prepare materials for shipping by manually packing, labeling, and organizing items.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.

  • Inspect materials for damage or defects, reporting any issues to the supervisor.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate material handling.

  • Assist with the disposal or recycling of materials as directed by the supervisor.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned to support warehouse or production operations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in a material handling or warehouse role is preferred.

  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

  • Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Basic communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.

Pay Details: $15.00 per hour
