Position Summary
RSI is recruiting for aFacility and Fleet Operations Specialistwho willbe responsible for providing operational and facility support to the LMS Facility Lead and LMS Facility Manager to support the LM and LMS staff on site in a high-visibility, fast-paced environment. Interacts with the landlord, works with initiative as a facilities specialist, and exercises sound judgment in accomplishing the projects assigned.They are also responsible for supporting the Fleet Manager with overall fleet responsibilities on the Legacy Management Support (LMS) contract. Directs the activities specific to the Grand Junction, CO site and to support other occupied sites across the country that support the LM mission.

Hiring Range: $ 16.64 to $33.70 per hour. Annual salary will range from $34,611.20 to $70,096.00 per year. (The anticipated starting salary is based on the posted minimum requirements for this position. The offered salary will be based upon the selected applicant’s education, training, and experience.)
This position is required to travel less than 10% of the time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Daily walk-down of the facilities, documenting and submitting landlord and/or LMS work orders as needed, build and set-up or move furniture, fixtures, and equipment, frequently working with hand tools.
Assist Fleet Manager in fleet operations including policies & procedures, acquisition & disposals, dispatching, preventive/corrective maintenance plans and activities, infrastructure, training, communication, budgets, telematics analysis, accident/incident investigations, billing/invoicing, and safety for all vehicles at all sites within LM.
Support the Facility Lead in managing furniture and equipment, perform monthly building inspections and other inspections as needed.
Directs fleet operation activities specific to the Grand Junction, CO site and supports other occupied sites across the country that support the LM mission.
Interacts with a diverse group of facility users, government, contractor and the general public, supports facilities management as needed, supports safety functions, computer work to create and maintain spreadsheets, perform corrective and preventative maintenance activities.
Fleet Maintenance – Ensure maintenance is addressed via a preventive action process that identifies issues before they become systemic failures which increases costs and time.
Assist in the implementation of the Facility Management Plan, organize, direct and control project specific meetings, documents, assessments, corrective actions, and other project management required duties.
Dispatching – Supervises the proper dispatching of our pooled and sub-pooled vehicle fleet for each of the occupied sites.
Responsible for supporting safety, compliance, and security for the assigned site or office location.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Years of Relevant Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facility Management, Construction Management, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Licenses and Certifications
- No Professional certifications required.
Required Skills and Abilities
Ability to interact with the internal and external clients on various related issues.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and sensitivity to government rules and regulations, building codes, emergency management, security in addition to written and oral communication.
Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Strong communication skills, both verbally and written.
Experience with hand tools.

Essential Physical Requirements
Heavy: Work involves moving objects by exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally or 25 pounds of force constantly. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for medium work.
