Summary: A cook level I should have some minimal food production or preparation experience. The Cook level I is responsible for learning and maintaining food preparation, kitchen equipment and kitchen utensil knowledge. The position must be able to work in all assigned areas and assist other kitchen members with food production and preparation. Cook level I is responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and kitchen equipment. Must be 19 years of age. Essential Functions:
- Provide exceptional guest service to all customers.
- Have entry level experience of food production and preparation methods.
- Learn and maintain food production methods.
- Learn and maintain how to operate kitchen equipment and kitchen utensils.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation daily.
- Cleaning of all kitchen equipment daily.
- Performing other duties as directed by management.
Required:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission.
