Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Technical Support: Provide first-line technical support to operations teams, addressing equipment and system issues promptly to minimize production downtime and coordinate with Supplier and IT Team.

  • Coordinate and support a Team of DBC specialists on a global scale.

  • Troubleshooting: Support in diagnosing/troubleshooting hardware and software-related issues in systems, equipment and infrastructure.

  • System Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency by optimizing processes, equipment performance, and system functionality.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all scans, analysis and repairs, ensuring compliance with quality standards. Create and maintain instruction of the inspection and analysis.

  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing ideas and implementing solutions to enhance operational performance.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality and IT teams to coordinate and implement technical solutions and upgrades.

  • Training: Provide technical training and guidance to crawler operations and annotation personnel to enhance their knowledge and skills.

  • Incident Response: Lead or participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to prevent recurrence of issues.

  • Auditing: Conduct a random audit for the analysis and ensure a same level of disposition across a plant.

  • Quality Assurance: Perform data Analysis of the Crawler Image and assuring process compliance before failure occurs.

  • Operational Quality:

  • Perform data analysis accurately to secure Zero defect escapement and zero over processing.

  • Provide on time analysis support and feedback to the plants for smooth operations in the plant.

  • Drive improvements towards improving scanning methods and obtaining better quality data.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in engineering

  • Experience: 4 years of experience in engineering & 6 years of experience within a composite manufacturing environment. Wind background will add advantages.

  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.

  • C ommunication: Strong English language skill (verbal and written).

  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues to achieve common goals.

  • Decision Making: Sets goals and regularly follow up on these goals. Takes decisions and monitors results. Flexibility:

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts, as needed to support operations.

  • Flexible to travelling across LM business units for executing training and operational support.
