UND Alumni Association & Foundation Gift Administration Coordinator in Grand Forks, North Dakota

POSITION SUMMARY

The Gift Administration Coordinator is responsible for recording and acknowledging gifts to the UND Alumni Association and Foundation to ensure that charitable contributions are efficiently and accurately processed. This individual ensures efficiency and timeliness in processing donor information and donations using best practices to maintain optimal data integrity as well as performs other financial responsibilities. This position plays a key role in maintaining Salesforce integrity and in maintaining donor communication and satisfaction through timely donor acknowledgement

The Gift Administration Coordinator will maintain a high level of accuracy while meeting deadlines. This position will be capable of adhering to the gift entry processes, in addition to being prepared to improve upon them. This position must be data driven, adaptable, and be committed to maintaining data integrity.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1.

Responsible for entering gifts to ensure compliance with gift policy and coding protocols in order for each gift to be credited in a manner that enables the fulfillment of the donors intent, and the donor is properly acknowledged.

2.

Perform gift adjustments of donors gifts as needed.

3.

Ensure accuracy and integrity of CRM gift records by identifying, investigating, and resolving data issue.

4.

Perform detailed research on wide-ranging, ad hoc requests for information regarding gifts, including but not limited to, providing clarity on donor intent.

5.

Respond to department fund/gift questions.

6.

Ensure the integrity of financial information, maintenance of gift, donor, and other financial data in compliance with applicable regulations and reporting guidelines.

7.

Other projects as assigned through supervisor.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Education:

Associate degree in a Business-related field. Technical training and/or work experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience:

Minimum of three years relevant work experience preferred

PHYSICAL and COGNITIVE REQUIREMENTS

Ability to operate computers, telephones, and other standard office equipment. Ability to focus and complete work in a timely manner. Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, squat, and lift or move objects up to 10 pounds.
