Sodexo Clinical Nutrition Manager II in GRAND FORKS, North Dakota

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian for Clinical Nutrition Manager role to provide clinical oversight to the Nutrition Department at Altru Health System. This brand-new acute care facility is a stand-alone multi-specialty hospital located in Grand Forks , North Dakota . Some remote opportunities available! Very competitive salary!

$5,000 Sign-On Bonus

Start with 3 weeks’ vacation and 3 personal days!

4 weeks’ vacation after 12 months and 3 personal days!

What You'll Do

  • Manage the clinical nutrition program withinAltru Health System;

  • supervise a team of 4 Dietitians and 5 Diet Clerks, both inpatient and outpatient;

  • provide direct patient care 20% of the time;

  • advocate to expand and promote the role of Clinical Nutrition throughout the facility;

  • collaborate with the implementation and management of Sodexo’s meal service program and menu management system;

  • foster a culture of learning that promotes career growth and professional development;

  • proactively seek out and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders that is integral to moving efforts of the department forward;

  • drive Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects;

  • provide nutrition care to a variety of patient units as needed.

What You Bring

  • Be a Registered Dietitian with acute care experience and demonstratea great clinical knowledge base;

  • have proven supervisory or management experience with an aptitude for program growth and development;

  • demonstrate excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills;

  • have experience with regulatory accreditation, regulatory readiness and review, and establishing and maintaining standards of care.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire

Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

Minimum Management Experience: At least 13 months experience supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes.

Minimum Functional Experience: 3 years as experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised and provide professional supervision to developing practitioners
