The Opportunity
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time Senior Maintenance Technician to join the operations team at Grand Canyon National Parklocated in Grand Canyon, Arizona. As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you will use your journeyman level craft experience to handle all general maintenance work orders and general preventive maintenance. This includes electrical, carpentry, plumbing, or concrete and mason work.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently complete assigned maintenance requests in basic carpentry, painting duties and multiple call outs.
- Requires journeyman level experience in concrete, stone and mason work.
- Assist in maintaining water softeners, and salt inventory per preventive maintenance schedule.
- Ability to perform level one trade functions such as electrical motor trouble shooting to 220 volts, plumbing, refrigeration/HVAC, basic boiler operation, kitchen equipment repair, and second level maintenance repairs.
- Must possess valid drivers license and ability to operate company vehicle.
- Operate designated heavy equipment and adhere to all safety requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
