Description

We are recruiting for a Controller (Plant) role in Grafton, Wisconsin. This role is vital to our manufacturing operations and involves managing all financial activities within our plant, including budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage accounting operations such as billing, A/R, A/P, financial planning, budget preparation, expense management, and payroll

• Develop and implement cost standards for materials and labor

• Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs

• Formulate financial forecasts to aid in business planning and decision-making

• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations

• Develop and maintain the integrity of the financial reporting process and financial controls

• Coordinate, complete, and oversee job cost analysis

• Collaborate with management on the development and execution of funding strategies

• Evaluate and drive continuous improvement in cost efficiency

• Collaborate closely with manufacturing associates to understand and analyze issues affecting profitability

• Ensure the accuracy of physical inventory and reported results, investigate, and explain book to physical adjustments

Requirements • Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role or in the field of accounting and finance

• Proficiency with 3M and Eaton is a must

• Expertise in Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services is necessary

• Familiarity with Epicor is required

• An understanding of Accounting Functions and Accounts Payable (AP) is essential

• Experience with Annual Budget, Auditing, and Budget Processes is required

• Knowledge of Annual Standard Cost, Cost Accounting, Manufacturing Cost Accounting, and Standard Cost Accounting is essential

• Experience in the Manufacturing field, specifically Manufacturing Assembly and Manufacturing Variance, is a plus

• Proficiency in SAP is a must.
