NY Employer IT Systems Technician in Gouverneur, New York
Gouverneur Savings & Loan has a full-time opening for an IT Systems Technician.
SUMMARY: This role is to support and maintain in-house computer systems, desktops, and peripherals. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance. The person will also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training and assistance where required.
PAY AND BENEFITS: Full-time 40 hour work week. Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm. Compensation is based on experience and ranges from $45,000 - $60,000. GS&L offers a great benefit package, including Health & Dental insurance, Holiday and Vacation pay, sick leave, and retirement/pension.
REQUIREMENTS: Must have a valid drivers license for travel between bank locations. Applicants are preferred to have a Computer Science degree or 2 years equivalent work experience.
QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides. Working technical knowledge of current network protocols, operating systems, and standards. Excellent technical knowledge of network and PC hardware, like Microsoft Office 365. Extensive hands-on hardware troubleshooting and equipment support with Windows servers &Active Directory. Ability to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories. Ability to conduct research into PC issues and products as required.
