Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager ensures proper facilitation of the Base Area Operations department. Through ongoing inspection and maintenance, this leader coordinates and supervises the daily activities of the building maintenance technicians and custodians, in the performance of routine, emergency, and preventative maintenance on a variety of utilities (gas, water, sewer, electrical), commercial kitchen, and building electro-mechanical systems and equipment. Manager is also responsible for overseeing grounds crew, and parking staff. Manager sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion and coordinates work activities with other departments. Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance and oversight from Sr. Manager of Base Area Operations while acting as a resort leader.

Job Specifications:

  • Location: Wildcat Mountain, NH

  • Expected Pay Range: The budgeted range starts at $52,000.00 - $68,175. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time / Year Round

  • Skill Level: Advanced

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the work order tracking system & scheduling work load

  • Supervise maintenance on building heating and ventilating systems and controls

  • Supervise maintenance on commercial kitchen cooking equipment

  • Supervise seasonal painting and carpentry technicians on the completion of seasonal special projects as assigned

  • Assist in the trouble shooting and diagnose problems

  • Direct and Supervise daily upkeep, cleaning and disinfecting of all restroom facilities, common areas, and trash/recycling needs of the resort.

  • Direct oversight of resort seasonal shuttle service and parking plan.

  • This position will have involvement with the hiring & disciplinary function related to Base Area Operations.

  • Exhibit strong customer service and supervisory skills

  • Work with corporate buyers to facilitate purchasing necessary materials to perform tasks.

  • Responsibilities include ensuring OSHA and governing body compliance in all aspects of the occupation

  • Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

  • High School Degree, or equivalent

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office

  • Experience in HVAC

  • Plumbing or Construction experience is a plus

  • Minimum 1 year of technical trade supervision

  • Aptitude for managing departments and employees of all skill levels

  • Valid Driver’s License

The expected pay range is $52,000.00 - $68,175. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
