Job Title: Electrical Technician

Job Description

Join our team as an Electrical Technician where you will be responsible for the installation and troubleshooting of electrical, instrumentation, and control components on plant equipment and DCS controls systems. Your role will include inspecting existing panels to ensure proper function and configuration, calibrating field instruments, and applying advanced analytical skills to resolve complex problems independently. You will also maintain inventory records for parts used on equipment installations and repairs, and ensure good housekeeping at the work site. Adherence to all safety rules and regulations is paramount.

Preferred Skills

• Instrumentation - Calibration of scales

• Control Valves - maintaining and calibrating

• Pump and pressure controls (480 psi) - verifications on pressure and flow

• Troubleshooting PLCs (RS Logic 500) - Ability to identify inputs and outputs

Work Environment

The work environment is dirty and non-climate controlled,. Working hours are from Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm. There is currently no on-call schedule, but this may change in the future to include every 3rd weekend. The team consists of 46 total employees onsite, with 6 on the maintenance team. Dress code includes steel toes, long pants, long sleeves, hard hat, and safety glasses.
