The Sr PM Strategy Planning & PMO for the World Wide Operations Security (WWOS) organization will help manage and lead governance and strategy, standards and procedures, and project and change management support for the Risk and Resilience team. This position drives Operational Planning (OP), Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews, budget tracking and financial reviews, and project portfolio management to ensure teams are driving results to organizational goals.

About the team

Working in partnership with our stakeholders, Security and Loss Prevention secures the Amazon supply chain end-to-end and promotes security during business conversations. Sitting within Security and Loss Prevention, the Risk and Resilience team does this by creating and maintaining risk frameworks to ensure continuation of our business, providing risk assessments, risk preparedness, contingency planning, and incident response as a service to business and operational Security and Loss Prevention teams. We provide strategic, tactical, and operational mechanisms by working closely with senior management and various other support teams in a global framework. We accomplish this through policies and standardized guidelines based on best practices, using technology to eliminate subjectivity, complexity, and variation, identifying, preparing for, and mitigating the impact of adverse events, and auditing our practices to ensure compliance and consistency.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience

• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

• Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

• Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment

• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

• PMP or equivalent experience

• Experience in using project management software such as Asana

• Experience with goal setting and tracking from team to KingPin goals

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or PMP

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
