A day in the life. * Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on health captive market solutions and alternative funding options for producers, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices. * Education and Training: Develop and deliver educational programs, training sessions, and workshops to producers and client service teams, providing them with a comprehensive understanding of health captives and their potential benefits. Teach them how to tell the story. * Market Analysis: Analyze the marketplace to identify and evaluate health captive solutions that align with the organization's goals and objectives. * Consultation: Provide consultation and guidance to producers on health captive options, helping them assess the feasibility and suitability of captives or alternative funding options for their specific client or prospecting needs including, finalist presentation support and communications. * Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including risk management, finance, and legal, to ensure a coordinated approach to health captive solutions and address any potential challenges or concerns. * Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including captive managers, carriers, brokers, and industry experts, to stay informed about market developments and leverage their expertise when needed. * Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards when discussing and implementing health captive solutions. * Continuous Learning: Continuously expand knowledge and expertise in health captives through professional development activities, industry conferences, and networking opportunities. * Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues across departments to identify opportunities for health captive solutions and support their implementation. Our future colleague. We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills: * 8+ years of experience health captive insurance * Strong command of healthcare insurance products, regulations, and market trends * Proven experience and expertise in health captive market solutions, including knowledge of different types of captives, their benefits, and their potential risks. * Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders * Knowledge of risk management principles and practices * Financial acumen and experience managing budgets These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply: * Professional certifications (e.g., CEBS) We know there are excellent candidates who might not check all of these boxes. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
