This is an ideal role for a candidate looking for a growing department in which they can lead the enhancement of training programs in addition to developing and growing their professional skills. This is a hybrid (in-office and remote) position based in Golden Valley, MN. Partner with leaders and stakeholders on learning requests through a needs assessment to identify learning and development priorities. Analyze, design, develop and implement learning courses and programs with organization goals and address specific skill gaps. Employ a range of instructional design methods, including learner-centered design, ADDIE, and Bloom's Taxonomy, to create engaging, effective, and accessible learning experiences that meet diverse learner needs and align with organizational goals. Review current L&D courses and programs for improvement and upgrade. Assist in the design and development of leadership development programs. Facilitate leadership development programs for a variety of levels of leadership. Develop and maintain measurements to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and demonstrate ROI for learning courses and programs implemented. Effectively present information, findings, and recommendations to various stakeholders, including senior management and team members. Research and benchmark relevant best practices, and recommend specific technologies, programs, processes, tools, and methodologies to address strategic objectives. Partner with leaders and training specialists to develop, enhance, and deliver effective program materials and methodologies. Act as a mentor and coach to team members, offering expertise and fostering professional development. Assist in the strategic planning of the L&D function as we grow and expand. Partner with business leaders on change management projects to assist in learning or communication needs related to the change. Upload, organize, and maintain training materials, courses, and resources within the LMS. Support the implementation of new L&D strategies and initiatives. Ability to travel 5% WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications): Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field. Experience and/or Training: 6 - 10+ years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering complex learning and development programs in a fast-paced environment, using a variety of methods of delivery and measures of effectiveness Experience facilitating training and development sessions across several locations, effectively engaging diverse audiences at all levels. Demonstrates advanced skills in instructional design, training facilitation, and program management. Experience in leadership development. Ability to self-manage and work independently with minimal supervision. Strong self-motivation and proactive approach to problem-solving and task completion. Strong project management skills and the ability to manage priorities across multiple stakeholders. Consultative approach: excellent communication and influencing skills to communicate effectively and credibly, both verbally and in writing, with audiences at all management levels Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
