This role will manage recruitment efforts to bring in exceptional candidates and implement teammate-focused initiatives that elevate engagement and satisfaction. Acting as a trusted advisor across departments, this role will ensure alignment between recruitment, retention, and engagement goals while advancing the organization's purpose to make tomorrow a little bit better than today. Employee Experience and Engagement Develop and execute programs to enhance engagement, satisfaction, and productivity, ensuring alignment with Ascentek's values and purpose. Foster a collaborative, positive relationship between teammates and leadership by advising on performance management, policy interpretation, attendance concerns, and employment-related investigations. Facilitate onboarding processes, including bi-weekly orientations and provide ongoing improvement of onboarding programs to create a seamless new hire experience. Implement feedback mechanisms such as surveys, focus groups, and one-on-one interviews to gather insights into teammate experiences, analyze data, and recommend actionable solutions. Develop and execute recognition programs that celebrate achievements and contributions, motivating teammates and retaining high performers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions addressing teammate needs and align engagement initiatives with People and Culture strategies. Deliver training programs to leaders and teammates as needed on program/policies. Talent Acquisition Manage full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews, extending offers, and assisting with onboarding activities. Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical roles using job boards, social media, professional networks, and other sourcing methods. Partner with hiring leaders to define staffing needs, develop recruitment strategies, and ensure alignment with market trends and industry best practices. Promote Ascentek's brand through effective communication of the company's values, culture, and opportunities. Facilitate offer negotiations, ensuring a smooth transition from candidate acceptance to onboarding. Ensure compliance with recruitment-related laws and regulations, maintaining accurate records of candidate interactions, assessments, and hiring decisions. Compliance and Administrative Support Maintain accurate teammate records in HRIS system, processing updates related to hiring, terminations, promotions, and other relevant changes. Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, affirmative action policies, and internal procedures during recruitment and employee relations activities. Participate in special projects, such as updati g polices, developing the AAP, or coordinating diversity and inclusion initiatives. Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related field. Experience and/or Training: 3+ years of experience in Human resources, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, or a related field. Knowledge of employee engagement strategies and cull-cycle recruitment processes. Expertise in compliance, employee relations, or organizational development. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate at all organizational levels. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations. Knowledge of federal/state employment laws and EEO/Affirmative Action compliance. High-level of discretion and confidentiality. Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., UltiPro) and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience and/or Training: Experience in corporate, manufacturing, or agency recruitment environments. Experience supporting remote teammates or multi-site organizations. License/Certification: PHR/SPHR certification or equivalent Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Intermediate to advanced knowledge of compliance, teammate relations, talent development or HIRS systems. Physical demands: Extended periods of sitting: The job primarily involves working at a computer workstation for extended periods. This requires the ability to sit for long durations while maintaining focus and productivity. Mobility and flexibility: Occasional movement within the office environment may be required, such as attending meetings, collaborating with colleagues, or accessing shared resources. The ability to move comfortably and navigate office spaces is necessary. Mental Demands: Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with colleagues, employees, and external stakeholders.
