This position will provide services to general neurology patients but is primarily a specialty practice in multiple sclerosis and other autoimmune nervous system disorders. Responsibilities will be to perform neurological physical exams (new and rechecks)/patient visits, coordinate patient care, manage prescriptions and provide patient/family education. There is also an opportunity to participate in clinical research studies. This position may be 4 or 5 days per week depending upon candidate preference. Position Requirements Master's degree from Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program with certification and current license required. Experience with auto-immune disease or familiarity with multiple sclerosis highly desired; or general neurology or internal medicine experience. Will consider a new graduate who is interested in learning neurology. Must possess excellent clinical skills and be able to function with a high level of autonomy. Must be self-motivated and detail-oriented; and possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with electronic health record required, Epic preferred. The Minneapolis Clinic of Neurology has a solid representation of Advanced Practice Providers throughout its five locations.
