You will be an active member of the ASRC Federal account team, interacting with the Program Manager, Customer, and site staff attending regularly scheduled customer meetings to keep the customer informed of activities and progress, and answering customer inquiries concerning all aspects of the various HPC systems and services.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Report to the Program Manager (PM) and provide program management support for all facets and functions of the NASA NACS contract: fully integrate, manage, control, and document all phases of the various task order requirements.
Collaborate with the Program Manager to organize, lead, direct, and manage the NASA GODDARD HPC staff of over 40 technical professionals in different disciplines: HPC, Cloud (public and private), network & security operations, user services, infrastructure and tools, software development and logistics.
Interface with the NASA Customer as needed.
Gather data and generate/develop the CDRL deliverables for review by the PM as needed.
Develop project management documentation including schedules, scope statements, charters, communication plans, etc. applicable to NASA GODDARD team projects, generally consistent with PMI PMBOK (tailored) processes and other best practices.
In collaboration with the PM, evaluate the NASA GODDARD staff, provide direction, and establish goals and objectives to ensure optimal contract performance.
Interview applicants for selected open positions; review and provide recommendations on personnel actions including promotions, merit increases, staff changes, and disciplinary actions including terminations.
Support Task Order responses followed by implementation of contract modifications.
Interpret and apply corporate policies and procedures to the NASA NACS contract.
Provide subcontractor management oversight as required.
Support cross-site projects to drive efficiency and innovations
Requirements :
Proven experience in managing multiple large programs/projects in an enterprise environment
Solid experience in decision-making and negotiations and vendor management
Excellent communication, problem-solving, conflict/resolution management, active listening, time management, and interpersonal skills required
Demonstrated consistent ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver technical solutions while mitigating or removing hurdles/obstacle
Experience in workforce planning, estimation, and budgeting
Strong analytical skills
Strong work habits and the ability to work independently as well as within a group setting
U.S. Citizen.
Education:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 10 years of relevant experience; Master's degree or equivalent plus 5 years of relevant experience; A Ph. D.

This position is offering a pay range of $138,464- $235,424 depending on experience, seniority, geographic locations, and factors permitted by law.
