What will I be doing?

Reporting directly to the VP Manufacturing, this role carries responsibility for the leadership and development of the Maintenance functions.

Leading a team of experienced engineers to deliver high levels of performance to the business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for the overall performance, development and maintenance of production technical resources/assets and capability (equipment, environment and personnel), ensuring Production Facilities are functioning in line with HSE, Planned Maintenance and all regulatory requirements.

The role is also responsible for the robust delivery of production support services such as Mechanical Calibration and Tool Support activities to ensure regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will be required to drive significant efficiency and cost improvements across the business whilst ensuring delivery, quality and internal customer satisfaction results are improved year on year.

You will focus on ensure a strong working relationship with your colleagues and customers, both internally and externally to the business whilst simultaneously ensuring that longer term manufacturing function goals are achieved.

The successful candidate will be required to drive significant efficiency and cost improvements across the business whilst ensuring delivery, quality and internal customer satisfaction results are improved year on year.

Job Requirements

You will focus on ensure a strong working relationship with your colleagues and customers, both internally and externally to the business whilst simultaneously ensuring that longer term manufacturing function goals are achieved.

This will include responsibility for:

• Ensuring Best in Class maintenance performance (97% Asset Availability) through the delivery of the SAFRAN Maintenance Maturity objectives, process improvement and strategic initiatives.

• Implementing technology for the future across Maintenance

What do you need from me?

• At least 7 years' experience in a manufacturing/production environment

• Able to demonstrate a desire and ability to deliver change

• Able to plan work and delegate to team members effectively

• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Have the ability to be a project leader who can control and delegate many different tasks in a cross functional team

• Be an assertive Manager who will inspire, motivate & galvanise others to provide multi-departmental support.

• Awareness of business metrics and what levers impact these results

• Have the drive to improve overall performance

• Ability to work with data, systems, processes to make informed business decisions

• Facilitating change through coaching, mentoring and leadership to ensure that a world-class facility is achieved and maintained

• Have a tenacious and dynamic personality

• Good problem solving skills

• Ability to manage through periods of uncertainty, bringing clarity and direction to achieve results

• Experience in manufacturing environments including working within processes and procedures.
