Job Description Summary

The Data Analyst and Administrator role is a duo role responsible for the global administration and maintenance of our Learning Management System (LMS) while providing data analytical support to our learning dashboard. The ideal candidate will support operations and conduct data analytics projects to provide information and insights to stakeholders for decision-making or solution development. You will implement data standards and deploy automation tools to extract, synthesize, and validate data from different sources and transform data into usable metrics.

You will also work cross-business with other LMS regional administrators to track employee training participation and progress while assisting on system maintenance and troubleshooting.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design, develop & maintain Tableau dashboards and reports in support of business requirements. Create & edit queries within Tableau to build calculated fields.

  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used in all reports & dashboards. Implement quality assurance best practices.

  • Review, analyze, and communicate data to stakeholders in each region monthly.

  • Consolidate and automate data into new Power BI dashboard utilizing data from Workday, SumTotal, and Adobe Learning Manager system.

  • Prioritize and assist global LMS Help Desk tickets while supporting regional administrators.

  • Partner with regional administrators to troubleshoot learner registration, course uploads, curriculum questions, system notifications, user access, etc.

  • Assist in the creation of user groups, global metrics, upload global content, etc. in the current Learning Management System (LMS) platform.

  • Align with regional learning leaders to ensure training activation and consistency for all regions and modalities.

  • This is a global role and occasional early calls (prior to 6am CST) or late evening (after 8pm CST) will be necessary.

Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency using and developing metrics in Tableau and Power BI.

  • Tableau Desktop/Server knowledge for BI Developer point of view.

  • Alteryx Designer knowledge and working experience to clean and prepare datasets.

  • Strong understanding of data analysis and visualization best practices.

  • Ability to work with variety of datasets and manipulate data to meet business needs.

  • Experience creating interactive dashboards and reports for stakeholders.

  • Expertise managing and supporting Learning Management System (LMS) preferably in Adobe Learning Manager.

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years’ experience as Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator, Data Analytics, or equivalent experience.

Desired Characteristics

  • Knowledge or expertise of SumTotal learning management system.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office/Teams software applications and Smartsheet.

  • Ability to connect across organizational boundaries to drive key initiatives and ensure learner engagement.

  • Change management skills - can drive change horizontally.

  • Effective interpersonal, teamwork, networking skills, collaboration & conflict resolution.

  • Basic understanding of instructional design using Articulate Rise 360.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $97,920.00-$146,880.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
