ASRC Federal Vistronix is seeking a Data Analyst with active SECRET clearance to support the Defense Health Agency.

The Data Analyst should exercise critical thinking skills that enable them to understand the reason they are doing the work requested of them and to then identify adjustments that may be made to the request to deliver a better outcome. They must also be able to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and develop informed recommendations. This position works with passionate team members that are excited to be supporting the DHA.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and transform data to generate insights that assess the effectiveness of various capabilities using Excel-based tools

• Leverage expertise in MS Excel, utilizing multiple functions, complex formulas, and pivot tables to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights within the data

• Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to communicate findings and ensure data is presented in a manner that supports organizational objective.

• Develop process-driven analysis, dynamic data visualizations and dashboards to identify trends, patterns and support decision-making processes

• Create comprehensive reports, highlighting key performance metrics and trends to provide actionable recommendations

• Present data-driven stories that clearly communicate outcomes and opportunities for improvement that resonate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Comprehensively analyze and interpret detailed healthcare reports to address value statements and operational needs; to ensure that data used in visualizations is accurate and represents the intended information; and to identify opportunities to use existing data to provide improved / new insights to the leadership team.

• Leverage experience in healthcare provider settings to tailor data analysis for improved service delivery and patient care outcomes; translate DHA healthcare report data into understandable insights for a non-technical audience.

Requirements:

• Proficient with MS products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)

• Strong Excel skills to include using multiple functions / formulas and pivot table and leverage that data to charts and data patterns

• Able and eager to quickly learn new technology systems

• Must have excellent organization and time management skills; ability to meet deadlines

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; capable of accurately tailoring messages in a clear, concise, unambiguous, engaging, and convincing manner; capable of translating data to non-technical audience

• Ability to work independently, set priorities, plan workflow, and take initiative in a fast-paced environment, across diverse systems and groups

• Ability to perform tasks with meticulous attention to detail, and high degree of accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness

• Ability to interface with DoD and Industry Leadership at Senior Levels

• Familiarity with the Military Health System and a variety of the DHMS concepts, practices, and procedures is preferred

• US Citizenship with an Active Secret

Education/Experience:

• Two (2) years of related experience

• Associates degree or higher is preferred
