Location: Glendive on Dawson Community College Campus
Status: Full-Time
Wage: $18.13-$18.99/hr DOE
About the Role:
As a School Liaison, you will be the vital link between our school-based health center (SBHC) and the broader community. You'll work closely with students, staff, and community members to promote awareness of our services and support clinical care coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote Awareness: Collaborate with the Program Director and Marketing team to increase visibility of SBHC services.
Engage Community: Conduct outreach to students and families, promoting positive behavioral health.
Coordinate Events: Plan and execute outreach events to engage the community.
Schedule Appointments: Use our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system to manage patient appointments.
Utilize Telehealth: Interact with patients using telehealth technology.
Screen Patients: Identify common health, mental health, and substance abuse disorders.
Facilitate Education: Provide patient education under the direction of licensed providers.
Ensure Follow-Up: Support patient engagement and follow-up care.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED required; health-related certification preferred.
Experience: At least 1 year of health- or outreach-related work experience; experience in diverse cultures and school settings preferred.
Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word and internet applications.
