ACTION FOR EASTERN MONTANA Director - Youth Employment & Training in GLENDIVE, Montana
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
AA Degree in Human Services or a related field with a minimum of one (1) year related experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education. Experience working with youth in the field of human services or education is preferred. Must have a strong knowledge of computer systems and programs.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Responsible for the planning, organizing, monitoring, implementation, administration and writing of all programs, grants and contracts relating to the Employment and Training programs. Ensure all contract and agency rules, requirements and regulations are followed. Must have knowledge of budgeting and expense procedures for program operations. Must have the ability to work with low income and disadvantaged people in an objective, non-judgmental manner. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, vendors, agency personnel and local, state, federal and tribal government personnel. Advocate on behalf of low-income youth and families in support of AEM's mission to support economic development and self-sufficiency.
Determine eligibility of youth for WIOA Youth Employment and Training Program. Provide comprehensive assessment to develop an individualized Service Strategy pursuant to each participant's needs. Provide local labor market information and training in job search method, job retention and career development strategies, assisting One-Stop customers in making informed career choices.

Full-time position.
$23.74 per hour. Benefits include: Employer paid insurance (preferred provider-90/10, non-preferred provider-80/20, $500 deductible), sick leave and vacation; and 401K.
