Develops and maintains relationships with new and existing groups, organizations, professional networking contacts and businesses within a defined market area. Makes initial presentations to organization leadership as well as scheduling and coordinating group presentations in conjunction with local sales and operations management. Conducts presentations and helps set appointments for PAF Advance Planning Counselors. Also involved with appointment setting process for other lead sources.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Identifies potential presentation audiences through local groups, professional contacts, networking sources, local management referrals, PAF advance planning counselors, other employees and external sources.
Evaluates the needs of the group to the program goals and objectives; sets priorities for presentation.
Schedules, promotes and conducts seminars in conjunction with local sales management within the markets to maximize attendance.
Presents the approved seminar programs to all venues that are secured.
Complies with all approved seminar processes and procedures.
Works closely with operations PAF advance planning counselors and sales management to ensure that all seminar attendees receive exceptional service.
Networking & Relationship Building
Partners with local sales management to gather and assign all presentation leads; ensures follow-up by PAF advance planning counselors.
Builds productive relationships with local sales and operations management to ensure understanding and support of seminar programs.
Encourages management and staff to become involved by communicating success stories and outcomes.
Manages and assists PAF advance planning counselors with existing contacts to better serve professional networking contacts.
Manages local ongoing relationships with national and local affinity partners. Identifies, cultivates and develops new local affinity partnerships in cooperation with our Corporate Affinity Partner Department.
Provides periodic support for the Continuation of the Arrangement Visits and special projects
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/MINIMUM Requirements
Education:
- A bachelor's degree or related experience
Experience:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in sales; experience delivering presentations preferred.
Some Funeral or Cemetery sales experience
Operations Industry experience is a plus
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Advance computer skills, including Power Point, Excel and Microsoft Word along with knowledge of video and audio equipment.
Comfortable in a sales environment
Excellent planning, organization and time management skills
Problem solver
Multi-tasker
Effective Public Speaker
Strong communication skills.
Must be a self-motivated
Proactively seeks program enhancements and development.
Understands the Dignity Memorial Brand and Dignity Memorial Benefits
Life insurance License is a plus

Compensation:
$19.60 to $25.00 per hour
An individual’s pay within the scale is based on several factors that may include one or more of the following: background, skills, relevant experience, performance, education and work location.
