Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Receptionist in Glendale, California, within the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry. This role focuses on providing front desk support, managing patient interactions, and administrative tasks. MUST be bilingual in ARMENIAN.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and interact with patients as the first point of contact.

• Manage incoming telephone calls with a detail oriented demeanor.

• Accurately input patient data and maintain records.

• Handle billing functions and collect payments from patients.

• Schedule patient visits in an organized and efficient manner.

• Obtain necessary medical records as required.

• Use medical software such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, Dentrix Dental Software, and Eaglesoft to streamline processes.

• Answer queries and provide necessary information to patients.

• Ensure the proper management and utilization of charts and graphs.

• Check patients in a manner that adheres to established procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role within the healthcare industry

• Proficiency in using medical software such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, Dentrix Dental Software, and Eaglesoft

• Bilingual English/Armenian*

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to answer and manage inbound calls effectively

• Knowledge of medical billing functions and processes

• Experience in creating and interpreting medical charts and graphs

• Demonstrated ability to check in patients, gather necessary information, and update patient records accurately and promptly.
